Fishing – Vartorps Gård

Time for fishing trip- at Vartorps Gård!
Vartorp is located exactly where Mörrumsån flows into the large Övrasjön lake.
Övrasjön has through the Mörrumsån river connection to the lakes Drevsjön and Örken towards the northeast and with the Sörabysjön, Öjaren, Tolgsjön and Helgasjön to the southwest – before passing through several other lakes it flows into the Baltic Sea.
Övrasjön and Drevsjön are a combined fishing area, where only one fishing license is required.

Great chance to catch perch, bream, birch, pike, lake, roach, whip and trout sniff.
Permitted fishing methods are: angel, fly fishing, angling, spinning and jig fishing (in winter).
You can buy the fishing permit to Övrasjön and Drevsjön from us.

You can also rent a boat or canoe per day or week including lifejackets with us.

Our large river and lake system provides the opportunity for wonderful canoe trips. Both one-day trips and tours of several days are possible.
Canoe is included in the rent if you choose to rent a cabin.
If you are an overnight guest at the hostel, you can rent a canoe or boat at discounted prices.

It is also possible to rent canoe only, the price, if you are not a guest living at us, is 300 SEK per day including life jackets.
